A Look Back at The UPS Store Floats
The iconic Rose Parade enables The UPS Store to shine the light on childhood literacy in a unique and creative way through the presentation of breathtaking and fanciful floats. Supporting communities across the country, each The UPS Store is locally owned and operated. Every dollar donated to the Toys for Tots Literacy Program stays local to provide books to children in need.
Each float is brought to life through natural materials like seeds, fruit, leaves, and of course, thousands of flowers from all over the world. These floats wouldn’t be possible without the help of passionate volunteers who invest hundreds of hours gluing and placing every flower, seed and leaf into place. The UPS Store is honored to have won the Rose Parade's prestigious top prize in both 2020 and 2019. The Sweepstakes Trophy is presented to floats for the most beautiful entry, encompassing overall float design, floral presentation and entertainment.
