Launching Our Small Biz Salute Campaign in Celebration of Small Business Week

In celebration of National Small Business Week (May 4-8), The UPS Store® is launching a new campaign called Small Biz Salute, which celebrates small business owners nationwide.

Small Biz Salute recognizes small business owners for their hard work. After all, they really are the engines of our local economies. Small Biz Salute also gives small business owners an opportunity to network and support each other.

We founded Small Biz Salute as a way to help entrepreneurs extend their networks.

We founded Small Biz Salute as a way to help entrepreneurs extend their networks. Our goal is for small business owners to identify new connections with others who have experienced similar situations, allowing them to share best practices and learn from each other’s experiences.

To help facilitate the link between small business owners, we’re launching the week-long campaign to give entrepreneurs in several of the nation’s top small business cities – Seattle, Austin and Atlanta – special opportunities to meet and make connections with other entrepreneurs in their communities, as well as gain valuable advice from small business mentors.

The UPS Store’s Small Biz Salute events will celebrate and unite local small business owners in many ways, including local coffee shop takeovers. To help raise awareness about locally owned businesses, The UPS Store will be at select coffee shops giving away free coffee to customers. We’ll also be hosting evening networking happy hours, featuring local entrepreneurial experts who will offer valuable advice on topics relevant to small business owners.
